We undertake the following actions to support you.
File Checks
We check files on a ratio of 1 case in every 8. Our file checkers select a cross section of the business you write in terms of different types, different products and different levels of risk. Assessments are carried out on a quality of advice basis and feedback is provided to help provide evidence for Treating Customers Fairly and to support adviser´s Continuous Professional Development
Compliance Visits
Your allocated regional Compliance Officers will visit you once a year to provide on-site support to your business. We aim to go though a range of compliance areas including Treating Customers Fairly to help run your firm compliantly. They will provide you with a report following the visit with helpful suggestions for your business.
Desk based supervision
We monitor your performance against our standards on an on-going basis. We can carry out a risk based review of this on either a quarterly, bi-annual or annual basis based on your risk profile. This is carried out by your Regional Compliance Manager and they will contact you to discuss any issues we identify.
