TESTIMONIALS
"Your Discretionary Management idea (May Newsletter) interests me no end. In passing I would observe that these communications are a breath of fresh air, full of useful information and devoid of the usual bovine ordure."
Michael Crabb - CRABB IFAs, Bridport, Dorset.
"Stuart Richards has passed to me a copy of the above (Financial Bulletin). I think it is probably one of the best publications I have seen in the financial service industry for a very long time.
Having had to endure endless amounts of the usual 'rubbish' that now infests this business it is nice to read something that has been produced by 'real' people who obviously still live on this planet!
Congratulations - I look forward to the next issue."
David M Spring - Spring Parker Brown, Cannock, Staffordshire.
"Since I have come back from my break I have had the opportunity of reading up the file and especially your brochure. I have to say it is really good because it made me laugh out loud as well as being very well set out and informative. I value humour and sometimes the Financial Services seems to be so devoid of any imagination and vision. That's sad because despite all it's a great Industry to be working in.
The Industry has been good to me and my colleagues in that we have enjoyed so far interesting and challenging careers. We find that a good sense of humour is a major attribute when advising clients and dealing with compliance! We thoroughly enjoyed your visit in July and thank you for your time spent with us."
Hugh Gibaud, Morgan Gibaud, Christchurch, Dorset.
"I must take this opportunity to thank all of your team at Cheltenham for the help you have given to us in the last 18 months. To say your approach is refreshing is an understatement and at every opportunity I continue to promote the cause."
Andrew Manton – King and Co, Northampton.
"I saw you made the front page of Professional Adviser and this prompted me to write. It’s now over 3 years since we joined you. Thank goodness we did; non onerous administration; informal practical seminars; newsletters with the right balance of humour, advice and facts; and all at a competitive price compared to Networks and others. In other words, you have provided exactly what you said you would and without any catches, and I hope that we do exactly the same for our clients. Another 3 years like that and I might be able to afford to retire. More of the same please."
Craig Johnston - Johnston Asset Management, Ayr.
We have secured the services of a number of Networks over the last 10 years in our search to find a Network that delivers what it promises. We have been members of the Financial Network for some 3 years now and intend to stay!
It is refreshing that the network does what it says on the tin. Some of the benefits are:
- Commissions are paid direct from the provider to our bank account. Combined with Financial’s fixed fee approach, we can manage our cash flow more effectively. There are no hidden charges and the reduced network costs produces more company profits.
- No issues with ownership of clients. We own our own clients.
- File checks are assessed in the UK and Financial employ very experienced and qualified personnel at senior levels. This means they have the confidence to help with cases that fall outside the standard box.
- Their attitude is to help you write business in a compliant manner, not to promote a fear environment which stops you writing business. Our impression is we are one big team all moving in the same direction with the reality that we need to earn an income as well as satisfy our regulator and TCF principles. They help rather than hinder.
- The Daily Trainers is a great idea, no big exams during the year for which you will cram then forget, one question a day keeps you on your toes and constantly learning. This method allows you to identify any weaknesses on a daily basis.
- IFAtv keeping you in touch with head office and the markets.
All in all we are extremely happy with our choice of network. They offer all the positives we need to run a profitable business e.g. compliance, cash flow, expertise without the frustration of dealing with an expensive, unassailable network with no quarter for reason.
Eleanor Allison – Director, Direct Mortgages (Scotland) Ltd.
"We've not long joined the Financial network (April 2009) and I must say it's been a great move for us. Our concern over Capital Adequacy, PI Insurance and RMAR have vanished and the extremely competitive pricing structure has made us a very happy little company.
Credit where it's due really. It's a well run organisation you have there. It's far more efficient and adviser focussed than all of the others I`ve experienced."
David Norwell, Practical Financial Planning, Moray, Scotland
